Dufour Catamarans and Synergy Yacht Sales announce a strategic alliance for the product and market development of the exciting Dufour 48 catamaran.
JJL Catamarans, Forli (Italy) based shipyard producing Dufour Catamarans has recently been sold to Under the Heavens company from Croatia. Both companies are financially backed by Fozzy Group, one of the largest trade industrial groups in Ukraine securing financial stability and substantial investment in the expansion of the production and development of new models.
Dufour Catamarans’ recent change in ownership and management has created an opportunity for Synergy Yacht Sales, a successful and well-respected Athens-based yacht sales, brokerage and marketing company, to create this alliance.
The agreement covers not only product and market development for the Greek and US markets, but also creates a platform for new investors to participate more fully in the factory-to-yacht ownership vertical.
The combined expertise of Dufour and Synergy in the catamaran design, construction and charter space will provide clients a peerless combination of market insights, supply/demand and financial analysis, but uniquely allow professional buyers to be able to modify their own catamaran design, tailored to specific market segments and their own needs.
The goal is to design affordable and practical catamarans that are well positioned in the charter market to address the increasingly discerning, mid-market client. We know that buyers are much clearer as to their own requirements on the vessels they charter, so it is important that the charter space moves to address these expectations. This differentiation should provide increased charter revenue and higher margins for the investment buyer.
Synergy Yacht Sales and Consulting is the exclusive representative for Greece and Cyprus and through parent company Endless Blue, it will also represent the US market.
“The joint collaboration between the two companies bring together decades of experience in the key global catamaran markets and both companies share a vision for the future of catamaran development” said Nikola Krasic, Sales Director of the Shipyard.
“Our involvement at the factory level provides the additional confidence necessary our clients need as they contemplate investing in catamarans. As a strategic partner in the development, the sales and after sales service, we will be able to provide unique advice and expertise to guide them every step of the way”, said Angela Mavredis Managing Director of Synergy Yacht Sales and Consulting.
“Our objective is to bring back focus on the final client and attention to detail required to produce a quality product. Through this alliance with Synergy we will deliver this for our clients and, as a result, improve their returns in this competitive space”, said Vadim Ievstafiev, CEO of the Shipyard.
