Burgess has been appointed worldwide Central Agents for the sale of the 64m (210ft) Palmer Johnson new build project PJ 210-2. Scheduled for delivery in November 2017, the second vessel in the 210 series is designed to blend the speed and performance of a fast sports yacht with the volume, comfort and amenities of a large motor yacht. This striking and highly innovative semidisplacement yacht represents an impressive evolution of the original and highly acclaimed Palmer Johnson 120ft sports yacht. Like her predecessor, the first hull in the series, the all-aluminium PJ 210-2 will harness exceptional power. With a swift cruising speed of 24 knots and a top speed of 28 knots, the vessel remarkably also has trans-Atlantic range. Her near-vertical, slim-line bow was conceived to deliver exceptional sea keeping credentials and maximise comfort when underway. Despite her considerable size, she is super-sleek, dramatic and sporty: an unbroken line runs from transom to bow, emphasising the flowing profile of her distinctive Nuvolari Lenard exterior styling. A generous beam of 9.5 metres (31ft) on this tri-deck motor yacht results in a vast 650 sqm (7,000 sq ft) of light and airy interior guest spaces, which will incorporate large living, dining and entertaining areas with panoramic views along with spacious accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins. A full beam master suite with large circular windows will be located on the main deck, while a full-width VIP suite and four further cabins are planned for the lower deck. A seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living areas will create an elegant but relaxed environment and the vessel’s expansive decks offer 344 sqm (3,700 sq ft) of exterior space. Numerous interesting options exist for customising the enormous bow area and impressive aft deck. The sun deck or “crow’s nest” of this immense yacht is a more intimate area for relaxing outdoors. Hull construction is already well underway but there is still excellent scope for a new owner to play a key role in developing the project to conclusion while avoiding the long duration normally associated with commissioning a fully custom new build. The PJ 210-2 is offered for sale by Burgess as Central Agents with an asking price of EUR 48,000,000.
