ISA Yachts Unveils the Large Yacht Collection

Luxury today is increasingly defined by individuality, and nowhere is this more evident than in the world of superyachts. Recognising this shift, ISA Yachts, part of the Palumbo Superyachts group, has introduced the ISA Large Yacht Collection a new design platform developed specifically for owners seeking a truly bespoke yacht without compromising on proven engineering and construction expertise. Rather than offering a fixed model range, the Collection provides a robust technical foundation upon which every yacht can be uniquely created. Each project is developed around the owner’s lifestyle, personal vision and way of experiencing life at sea, allowing for virtually unlimited design freedom while benefiting from decades of shipbuilding experience. The initiative builds upon ISA Yachts’ growing expertise in the large-yacht segment. The shipyard is currently constructing the ISA Custom 80, ISA Gran Turismo 80 and ISA Gran Turismo 100, while also drawing on the successful delivery of the 80-metre Columbus Classic Dragon. Together, these projects have established the technical and engineering know-how that now supports this ambitious new platform.

According to Giuseppe Palumbo, Sole Director of Palumbo Superyachts, every owner approaches yachting differently. Rather than imposing predefined layouts or styling, the ISA Large Yacht Collection has been conceived to transform each client’s vision into a completely individual yacht, supported by a proven technical platform. The philosophy reflects an increasingly important trend within the luxury sector, where exclusivity is measured not only by craftsmanship but by originality.

The first project illustrating this concept is Amarcord 82, created in collaboration with renowned Italian design studio Nuvolari Lenard.

At 82 metres, Amarcord immediately stands out through her elegant, contemporary profile. Flowing exterior lines, expansive glazing and carefully integrated hull openings establish a constant visual connection between the interior living spaces and the surrounding sea, while maximising natural light throughout the yacht. One of the design’s defining features is its spectacular stern architecture. Here, the aft platform opens directly onto an expansive beach club complemented by two fold-down terraces that dramatically increase the connection with the water. Above, a glass-bottom swimming pool forms the centrepiece of the main-deck cockpit, allowing daylight to cascade into the beach club below and creating an impressive play of transparency.

The interior layout has been conceived around comfort, wellbeing and extended cruising. Accommodation includes five spacious VIP guest suites alongside an exceptional owner’s apartment exceeding 100 square metres, designed as a true private residence at sea. Generous outdoor lounges, multiple dining areas, panoramic relaxation spaces and swimming pools are seamlessly integrated across the upper decks, encouraging a fluid transition between indoor and outdoor living.

Throughout the project, architecture is carefully balanced with functionality. Every area has been designed to maximise privacy while maintaining a strong connection with the marine environment, reinforcing the growing trend towards yachts conceived not merely as vessels, but as floating homes capable of supporting long periods aboard.

Beyond the debut of Amarcord 82, the ISA Large Yacht Collection represents a broader evolution in the concept of full-custom yacht building. Rather than asking clients to adapt to an existing platform, ISA offers an approach where engineering experience becomes the invisible framework supporting creativity. The result is a yacht tailored entirely to its owner while benefiting from the reassurance of proven naval architecture and construction expertise. As Palumbo Superyachts continues construction of its future 100-metre flagship, the launch of the ISA Large Yacht Collection confirms the shipyard’s ambition to strengthen its position among the world’s leading builders of fully bespoke superyachts. For owners seeking something genuinely unique, the message is clear: the next generation of luxury lies not in selecting from an existing catalogue, but in creating a yacht that exists nowhere else.
