Baglietto Launches Marsa Luna, the Eighth T52 Motor Yacht with Hybrid Propulsion
Baglietto has successfully launched Marsa Luna, the eighth unit in its T52 motor yacht series, marking another milestone for the Italian shipyard. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, the launch took place in December in the presence of Baglietto’s management and the Owner’s representative team, including Kirill Kuatov of NAU Yachts and Aberton Yachts.
Hull No. 10253 is the second T52 to feature an upgraded hybrid propulsion system, offering enhanced efficiency and reduced environmental impact. The system allows the yacht to operate in electric-diesel mode, enabling up to 12 hours at anchor relying solely on battery power. When required, the twin Caterpillar C32 engines deliver a top speed of 16 knots and a range of approximately 4,500 nautical miles in conventional navigation mode.
From an architectural perspective, this latest T52 retains the contemporary identity that defines the series, with fluid lines and balanced proportions reflecting Baglietto’s recent design evolution. The layout prioritizes volume, functionality and onboard liveability, with solutions conceived for extended cruising and practical everyday use.
A strong connection with the sea is emphasized by an open stern featuring a three-level beach club. The swimming pool is equipped with a movable floor and pop-up system, allowing the deck space to be expanded when the pool is not in use. On the upper deck, large windows opening on three sides create a sheltered lounge area designed for comfort in all weather conditions. Completing the exterior layout, the approximately 24-metre-long sun deck once again stands out as one of the T52’s signature features.
